NOW, T~REFO}~E~ BE IT ~ o ~E~OL~,I], that it would be for the benefit and best interest of the City of Santa ~a that the following described real pro~rty belonging to said City of Santa Aha and situated in the County of Orange, State Of and ~rticularly described as ~ollows, to-wit: Beginning a certain ~arcel of land all of which lies within the S~theast one-quarter (SE 1/4) of the Southwest one'~arter (SW 1/4) of Sectim Fifteen (15), Township Five (8) South, ~at~ge Ten (10) West, S.B. B.&.I~I., more particularly described as follows: Beg~min~ at a point on the Nor.,h line of the ssi5 Southeast one- quarter (S~, 1/4] of the Southwest one-quarter (St; 1/4 ) of Section Fifteen (15) and a distance of fifteen (15) feet West of the Northeast corner thereof; thence South 1° 00' East V40 feet; thence North 87-~ 30~ West 499 feet to a point on the Easterly toe of slope of the levee along the East bank of the Santa Aha River; thence Northeasterly along the said Easterly toe of slope of the said levee to an intersection with the said North line of the Southeast one-quarter (SE 1/4) of the Southwest one-quarter (ar,' 1/4) of Section Fifteen (15); thence along the North line thereof and due East 350 feet to the point of begiming; containing 7.06 acres more or less. be leased to C..~].Price of Orange County, California, for a te~ ~ ten (10) years, commencing October 1, 1929, together wi~-h the provision in said lease that s~id .C.E. ~ice agrees to accept all garbage from the City of Santa ~a delivered dumped into birth':upon s~id p~emises during the te~ of said lease. ~e consideration fo~ said lease to be the s~ of ~]450.00 per month for the first ~o and one-half years of said term, :~50C..00 per month for the next two and one-half years of said te~, ~;550.00 pe~ month fo~ the next two and one-half years of said term, and ~600.00 per month for the last two and one-half years of said tern. Said rental payable monthly in advance, and said lease to contain the usual and customa~ clauses for temlnatfng ssme¥~ upon failure of the Lessee to ~form the covenants th~reof. That said lease shall also provide that the City of Santa /ma shall not be responsible for any garbage unlawfully taken by other persons from the City of Santa Aha, ~d shall ~quire the Lessee to furnish a satisfactory bond for the faithful performance of the terms of said lease, in the smoot of the annual rental due there~der. ~at the Mayor and Oity Clerk of said City of ~anta Aha, res~ctively, shall execute a lease on behalf of the City of Santa .~a, with the said c.:,.~ri~e, in accord- ance with the terms hereinbefore mentioned, and such ad~ition~! clauses as are generally contained in farm leases.
