IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND INPROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. 3 OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA~ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1914 <br /> <br /> ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> 0F SANTA ANA~ CALIFORNIA~ APPROVING SPEC- <br /> IFICATIONS FOR THE ACQUISITION AND WIDENING <br /> OF A PORTION OF EAST FIRST STREET IN THE CITY <br /> OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clyde L. Jenken, City Engineer, was on the <br />2nd day of April, 1928, directed to prepare specifications for <br />the proposed ac~ isition and widening of East First Street <br />between Main Street and the SOuthern Pacific Railroad track <br />to Newport Beach, under proceedings to be had under the <br />designation of "Acquisitio~ and Improvement District No. 5 of <br />the City of Sant'a Aha"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said Clyde L. Jenken, thereafter on the <br />2nd day of April, 1928, presented said specifications to this <br />City Council and this City Council has examined the same and <br />deems that the public interest and necessity requires the <br />a_cquisition therein provided for in the manner therein set <br />forth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT kESOLVED: That said spec- <br />ifications be and they are hereby ap'p~oved by this City <br />Council and it is hereby ordered that said specifica.tions be <br />filed with the Clerk of this City Council. <br /> <br /> The foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced, <br />passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of <br />April, 192S, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.G.Knox, <br /> Stanley E.
