RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br /> ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OR <br /> OTHERWISE INPROVENENT OF PORTIONS OF PACIFIC AVENUE, <br /> FI~TH STREET, THIRD ~TREET, SECOND STREET, FIRST <br /> STREET, AND BRISTOL STREET; DECL~RING THE SAID WORK AND <br /> INPROVE~IENT TO BE OF WORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC <br /> BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY <br /> AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; <br /> DETERNINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT <br /> SAID C0~TS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TINE AND PLACE <br /> · OR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR I~PR0~TENT, OR <br /> TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH: <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City df Santa Ana, pursuant to the <br />provisions of the ImProvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Ac <br />of 19!5, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenience <br />requires, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana, California~ to order the construction of the following <br />described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha upon <br />~hich work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set <br />forth are upon and along those open public streets commonly known as <br />and called Pacific Avenue from the North line of First Street to the <br />South line of Seventh Street; Fifth Street from the East line of <br />ArteBia Street to the West line of Baker Street; Third Street From the <br />~enter line of Western Avenue to the center line of Forest Avenue; <br />Second Street from the West line of Western Av~ue to a line drawn <br />~aral~el to and distant ~ Feet ~est of the West line of Baker Street; <br />First Street fr~om the East line of Artesia Street to the West line <br />of Bristol Street; the South half of First Street from the East line <br />of Bristol Street, to a line draw~ parallel to and distant S0 feet West <br />of the West llne of Baker Street; the North half of First Street from <br />the East line of Bristol Street to a line drawn parallel to and <br />distant 10~.5 feet West of the WeBt of the West line of Baker Street; <br />Bristol Street from the South line ~F First Street to the South line <br />of Fourth Street; excepting therefrom any of said work already done <br />to the official grade, and all as particularly indicated on and in <br />accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> That the work to be done. and improvements to be made upon <br />and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets in <br />accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the <br />office o.f the City Clerk shall b9 as follows: <br /> <br /> That Pacific Avenue from the Northerly line of First Street <br />to the South line of Seventh Street, excepting therefrom such portton~ <br />of said street as are already improved to the official grade, be <br />graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement from cumb line to <br />CU~ line, and where'alleys intersect the grading and ~ ring shall <br />extend beyond the curb line to the extended property lines of said <br />Street, all as p~rticularly indicated on and in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications hereinafter mentionedl <br /> <br /> <br />
