RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. ZSl8 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF PORTIONS OF PARTON STREET, ST. ANDREW'S PLACE, BROADWAY, SYCAMORE STREET, BtHCH STREET AND ROSS STREET, DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; IE- CLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE C0~TS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEftING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bond Act of 191S, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of the following work and improvements in said City, to-wit: That' the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth are upon and along those open public streets co~only known as and called Patton Street between the center line of Edinger Street and the Southerly line of Tract No. 289 as recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 14, Page 8, Records of Orange County, California; St. Andrew's Place between the center line of Main Street and the Easterly line of Patton Street, Sycamore Street between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract No. 289; Broa~ay between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract No. 289; Birch Street between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract No. 289 and Ross Street between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract No. 289, excepting however from all of the above described streets any portions there~ which are already i~proved to the official grade as shown on the plans. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of streets in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor as hereinafter mentioned shall be as follows: PARTON STREET That the hereinbefore described portion of Patton Street, together with street intersections within the above described limits, shall be graded and paved with Portland cement concrete pavement, including driveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street and at street intersections around curves to intersect the curb lines of said intersecting streets; the excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete Sidewalks where sidewalks do not now exist; the excavation for and con- struction of vitrified clay pipe house connecting sewers; the excavation for and construction of copper pipe water services; the excavation for and construction of wrought iron pipe gas main, and wrought iron pipe house service gas connections, and all other necessary appurtenances thereto; all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. ST. ANDREWtS PLACE That the hereinbefore described portion of St. Andrew's Place, together with all street intersections within the above described limits, shall be graded ~ paved with Portland cement concrete pavement, including driveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street and at street intersections around curves to intersect the curb lines of said intersecting streets; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks where sidewalks do not now exist, or replacements are to be made; all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. SYCAMORE STREET That the hereinbefore described portion of Sycamore Street, together with street intersection within the above described limits, shall be graded and paved with Portland Cement concrete pavement, including driveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of sai~ street and at street intersection around curves to intersect the curb lines of said intersecting street; the excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete sidewalk where sidewalks do not now exist; the excavation for and con- struction of vitrified clay pipe house connecting sewers; the excavation for and construction of copper pipe water services; the excavation for and construction of wrought iron pipe g~s main; the excavation for and construction of wrought iron pipe house service gas connections, and all other necessary appurtenances thereto; all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
