RESOLUTION OF AWARD N0.2229 V~EREAS, the City Council of the City o~ Santa Aha did~ in ~pen session at an adjourned regular meeting thereof, on the 25th day of August, 1930, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for ~oing the following work, under Resolution of Intention No. 2218~ in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter s~t forth are upon and along those open ublic streets commonly known as and called Patton Street between the center line of Edinger Street and the southerly line of Tract No. 289, as recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 14, Page 8~ Records of Orange County~ California; St. ~ndrew~s Place between the center line of Main Street and the Easterly line of Patton Street; Sycamore Street between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract N1. 289; Broadway between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract No. 289; Birch Street between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract 289 and Ross Street between the Northerly and Southerly lines of said Tract No. 289, excepting however from all of the above described streets any portions theree~ which are already improved to the official grade as shown on the plans. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of streets in accordance with the plans and spec- ifications therefor as hereinafter mentioned shall be as follows: pARTON STREET That the hereinbefore described portion of Patton Street, together with street intersections within the above described limits, shall be graded and paved with Portland cement concrete pavement, including driveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street and at street intersections around curves to intersect the curb lines of said intersecting streets; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks where sidewalks do not now exist; the excavation for and con- st~uction of vitrified clay pipe houe connecting sewers; the excavation for and construction of copper pipe water services; the excavation for and construction of wrought iron pipe gab main, and wrought iron pipe house service gas connections, and all other necessary appurtenances thereto; all as particularly indicated on an~ in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. ST,. ANDREW ~ S PLACE That the hereinbefore described portion of St. Andrew's Place, together with all street intersections within the above described limits, shall be graded and paved with Portland cement concrete pavement, including driveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb ~ines of said street and at street intersections around curvs to intersect the curb lines of said intersecting streets; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks where sidewalks do not now e~ist~ or replacement are to be made; all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. SYCAM0t~E STREET That the hereinbefore described portion of Sycamore Street, together with street intersection within the above described limits, shall be graded and paved with Portland cement concrete pavement, including driveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street and at street intersection around curvs to intersect the curb lines of said intersecting street; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement con- crete sidewalks where sidewalks do not now exist; the excavation for and construct- ion of vitrified clay pipe house connecting sewers; the excavation for and con- struction of copper pipe water services; the excavation for and conmtruction of wrought iron pipe gas main; the excavation for and construction of wrought iron pipe house service gas connections, and al! other necessary appurtenances thereto; all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specificatio~ hereinafter mentioned. BROADWAY That the hereinbefore described portion of Broadway together with the street intersection within the above described limits, shall be graded and paved with Portland cement concrete pavement, including driveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street, and at street intersection around curves to intersect the curb lines of said intersecting street; the e~cavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks where sidewalks do not now exist~ the excavation for and con- strUction of vitrified clay pipe house connecting sewers; the excavation for and construction of copper pipe water services; the excavation for and construction of wrought iron pipe gas main, and ~vrought iron pipe house service gas connections; and all other necessary appurtenances thereto; all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. BIRCH STREET That the hereinbefore described portion of Birch Street, together with street intersection within above described limits, shall be graded and paved with Portland cement concrete pavemen$, including d~iveways; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street and at street inter~ection around curves to intersect the curb lines of said inter- secting street; the excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks where sidewalks do not now exist; the excavation for and construction of
