CHANGE OF GRADE <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the grade to which the work shall be done and improvement <br />made which is provided for in this Resolution is shown on the profiles therefor, on <br />file in the orifice of the City Engineer, to which said profiles reference is hereby <br />made for the description of such grade, and it is hereby resolved by the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana that the grade shown on the plans and profiles is the official <br />grade to which the work herein o~dered shall be done. <br /> <br />~ESORIPTION OF BONDS <br /> <br /> Section 4. The Said City Council does hereby declare and determine and <br />notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments and to bear <br />interest at the rate of six percent per annum wlll be issued hereunder in the manner <br />provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds <br />shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July next succeeding ten (10) months <br />from their date. <br /> <br />~ESCRIPTION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br /> Section 5. That the contemDlated work and improvement her,inbefore mentioned <br />is in the opinion of the City Council of more than local or ordinary public benefit, <br />and the expense of said work and irmprovement is made chargeable upon the district here- <br />inafter described, and said City Council does hereby declare said district to be the <br />district benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs and <br />expenses thereof, which district is bounded and described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of <br />California, and described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the southerly line of Santa Clara <br /> Avenue with the Easterly line of Flower Street; thence Southerly along the <br /> Easterl~ llne of Flower Street a distance of thirty (30) feet to a point; <br /> thence ~esterly and parallel to the Westerly extended Southerly line of <br />Santa Clara Avenue to an intersection with the Westerly line of Flower Street; <br />thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Flower Street a distance of <br />7S3.7~ feet to a point; thence Westerly and parallel to the Southerly line <br />of Lot SA, Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract, as per map thereof on file in <br />Book 4, Page 628, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, <br />a distance of 157 feet to a point; thence Northerly and parallel to Flower <br />Street a distance of 458.23 feet to a point; thence Easterly along a line <br />drawn parallel to the Southerly line of said Lot SA to an intersection with <br />the center line of North Park Boulevard; thence Southeasterly along the said <br />center line of North Park Boulevard to an intersection with a line drawn <br />parallel to and distant twenty (20) feet Northwesterly from the Southeasterly <br />line of LOt 81, Tract No. ~54, as per map thereof recorded in Miscellaneous <br />Maps, Book 22, Page 37, Records of Orange County, California; thence South- <br />westerly along the last described line to an intersection with a line drawn <br />parallel to and;distant ten (10) feet Northerly from the Southerly line of <br />said LOt 51; thence Westerly along said last described line and its Westerly <br />extension to an intersection with the center line of Flower Street; thence <br />Southerly along the center line of Flower Street to a point distant 840 feet <br />Northerly from the intersection of the center line of Santa Clara Avenue with <br />the center line of Flower Street; thence Easterly and parallel to Santa Clara <br />Avenue a distance of 180 feet to a point; thence Southerly and parallel to <br />Flower Street to an intersection with the Southerly line of Santa Clara <br />Avenue; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of Santa Clara Avenue 120 feet <br />to the point of beginninge <br /> <br />TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING <br /> <br /> Section 8. Notice is hereby given that on the 6th day of October, 1930, at <br />~:~0 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City of Santa Ana any <br />and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement may appear <br />before the said City Council and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be <br />carried out in accordance with this Resolution. <br /> <br /> That all persons desiring to so appear should file with the City Clerk of the <br />City of Santa Aha before the hour herein set a w~itten protest against the said work or <br />the assessment district proposed to be assessed, or both. <br /> <br />PUBLICATION OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> <br /> Section 7. The Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published <br />and circulated and of general circulation in the City of Santa Aha is hereby designated <br />as the newspaper in which this Rea~ution of Intention shall be published and the City <br />Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be p~b- <br />lished by two insertions in said newspaper, in the manner and form required by law. <br />The City Council does not deem it advisable that the Clerk mail copies of the notice of <br />i~provement to owners or reputed owners, and he is not required to mail the same. <br /> <br />~.0STING OF NQTICES OF IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> Section 8. The Street Superintendent of said City shall, after the adoption <br />of this Resolution of Intention, cause to be conspicuously posted along the lines of <br />said contemplated work or improvement and along all the open streets and alleys within <br />the hereinbefore described assessment district, notices of the passage of this Resolutio~ <br />o~ Intention, in the manner and form req~.~red by law. <br /> <br /> <br />
