RESOLUTION NO. ~694 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PRCP~T~ BE IT RESOLVk~D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI~ 0F SANTA ANA: That, Whereas, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Sm~ta Ana, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of 0rang~ State of Callforula, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and ~W~EREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private o,~mership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and Wt~£EAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownershi NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declar that it intends to and will at a regular me~ting of said City Council to be held on the 25th day of September, 1939, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth t~nuediately following the description of said parcels to the persons who have offered in writing to purchase the s~ne at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall recelvc a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10~) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at sai5 meeting, and the Layer and City Clerk will thereupon be 5fretted to make, execute and deliver a deed te such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid; the said property is described as .follows: That certain real property situate in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of Califcrnla, more particularly described as follows: Let 12 in Block "B" of Tract }~o. 259 .... ~2V5.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of September, 1939.
