RESOLUTION N0. 2823 RESOEUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL RFJ~L PROPER_n~J BE IT RESOEVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TP~E CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, W~REAS, the City of Santa Ana is the ovrner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and, ~REA~, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property of any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that the said prope should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the stone into private ownershi NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of t he City of Santa Aha does hereby declar that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 5th day of Au?ust, 1940, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth Lmmediately following the descriptions of said parcels t o the person who has offered in writing to purchase the s*une at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said m~eting, and the ~,~yor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid. The said property is described as follows: Lot Fourteen (14), Block ~E" of Tract No. 284 South one-half of Lot Six (6), Block "E" of Tract No. 284 South one-half of Lot Threo (3), Block "E" of Tract No. 284 South one-half of Lot Eleven (11), Block "E", of Tract No. 284 . . . . . · · · · · · · · · · .... . . . $440.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa /ina, at its regular meeting held on the lSth day of July, 1940.
