RESOLUTION N0. 2864 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY <br /> <br />BE IT RESOAVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real <br />property hereinafter described, and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the parcel hereinafter described consists of a certain lot and <br />parcel of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired by <br />the city of Santa Ana~ by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto <br />and/or from the County Tax Collectg~ of the County of Orange~ State of California, unde~ <br />the l~OVi~ons of the Statutes of the State of California~ in such cases made and <br />provided~ and <br /> <br /> WHEEEAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property of any thereof <br />for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that the said property <br />should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the ~ame may again <br />be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and <br /> <br /> WHEHEAS~ an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcel by private <br />individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; <br /> <br /> ~NOW, THEREFOHE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby <br />declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held <br />on the 16th day of December, 1940, sell said property at the pri~e hereinafter set <br />forth~ irmmediately folIowing the description of said parcel to the person who has <br />offered 'in writing to purchase the same at said price,, unless at said meeting the City <br />Council shall receive a bid for said parcel at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of <br />said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash <br />at said meeting~ and the Mayor .and City Clerk will thereuRon be directed to make~ <br />execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of <br />the amount of said bid. <br /> <br /> The said property is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot One (1), Block "A", Tract No. 869 . . . . . . . . . . $ 400.00 <br /> Lot Thirteen (13)~ Block 7, Tract No. 517 . . . . . . . . 150.00 <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its <br />regular meeting held on the 2nd day of December, 1940. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> E.
