WHE~F~S, a ~la~ map for such freewa~ ~n the ~ty of Santa Aha for Routes 2 and 174 lying between Roe Drive and the east city boundary of 0ity of 8ants Aha at Mabu~y Street has heretofore been prepared showing the proposed plan of the State as it affects city streets, including the proviaic~s for closing of 0ity Streets, under or to a oonneotic~ of 01fy Streets; for carrying 0~ty Streets over or with such freeway, and for relocations NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED: 1. The City agrees and consents to the closing of city streets, relocation of city streets and other construction affecting city streets, all as shown on the said plan map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "As and by this reference made a part hereof; and further, the City agrees and consents to the acqulai- tim by the State by negotiation with property owners or by condemnation of all necessary lands required for the construction, reconstruction, altering, relocating, or otherwise changing such existing city streets and all lands necessary for the con- structim of new streets, outer highways, ramps and connections appurtenant to said freeway and as shown on attached plan map, Exhibit A. 2. The State in the construction of said freeway will, out of the funds available for expenditure on state highway routes, make such changes affecting city streets, in accordance with the said plan map Exhibit A, or as the ~ame may hereafter be modified by subsequent agreement between the parties hereto. The grade separations indicated on attached pla~ map Exhibit A will be financed from said state highway funds, and may be either underpasses or overpasses, as the State determines by reason of the engineering conditions involved.
