WHE~F~S, a ~la~ map for such freewa~ ~n the ~ty of <br />Santa Aha for Routes 2 and 174 lying between Roe Drive and <br />the east city boundary of 0ity of 8ants Aha at Mabu~y Street <br />has heretofore been prepared showing the proposed plan of the <br />State as it affects city streets, including the proviaic~s for <br /> <br />closing of 0ity Streets, <br />under or to a oonneotic~ <br />of 01fy Streets; <br /> <br />for carrying 0~ty Streets over or <br />with such freeway, and for relocations <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED: <br /> <br /> 1. The City agrees and consents to the closing of city <br />streets, relocation of city streets and other construction <br />affecting city streets, all as shown on the said plan map attached <br />hereto, marked Exhibit "As and by this reference made a part <br />hereof; and further, the City agrees and consents to the acqulai- <br />tim by the State by negotiation with property owners or by <br />condemnation of all necessary lands required for the construction, <br />reconstruction, altering, relocating, or otherwise changing <br />such existing city streets and all lands necessary for the con- <br />structim of new streets, outer highways, ramps and connections <br />appurtenant to said freeway and as shown on attached plan map, <br />Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> 2. The State in the construction of said freeway <br /> <br />will, out of the funds available for expenditure on state highway <br />routes, make such changes affecting city streets, in accordance <br />with the said plan map Exhibit A, or as the ~ame may hereafter <br />be modified by subsequent agreement between the parties hereto. <br /> <br /> The grade separations indicated on attached pla~ map <br />Exhibit A will be financed from said state highway funds, and <br />may be either underpasses or overpasses, as the State determines <br />by reason of the engineering conditions involved. <br /> <br /> <br />
