HESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LEASE OF PROP~TY NOHTH OF UNIOIPAL BE IT ~ESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to exeeute, the City Clerk to attest ~a~ signature, a certain lease for a period of five (§) years for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to the United States Government for use for auxilliary purposes in connection with the Army Air Forces West Coast Training Center, and whtcb~eaid property is described as follows: Commencing at a point situate on the Southerly line of Eighth Street distant 590 feet North 89Q 42t 50" East of the point of intersection of the Southerly line of Eighth Street with the Southerly prolongation of the Easterly line of Freeman Street,~thence South 0Q 16t §0" East 116.67 feet; thence North 89e 4~~ 50~ East 566.T4 feet more or less to the Westerly line of Flower Street; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Flower Street 116.67 feet more or less to the Southwesterly corner of intersection of Eighth Street and Flower Street; thence South 89~ 42' 50m West along the Southerly line of Eighth Street to point of beginning. All of which is more particularly set forth in the copy of said lease on file in the office of the City Clerk. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of April, 1943.
