RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 0ITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha by deed and/or purchase from the owner of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public ourposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that the said property be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and %~:EREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity hast arisen to sell the same into private ownership: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 3rd day of May, 1943, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parce4 to the person who has offered in writin8~ to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the Oity Council sha~l receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10~) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the ~ayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid.
