RESOLUTION NO. 3702 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~l~HE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, PROPOSING TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRI- <br />TORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA A~A, DESCRIBING SAID <br />TERRITORY AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE TINE AND <br />PLACE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AT ~HICH SAID HEARING <br />Airy PERSON OWNING PROPERTY IN SUCH TERRITORY <br />MAY APPEAR AND SHOW CAUSE ~HY SAID PROPER'i~Z <br />SHOULD NOT BE ANNEXED. <br /> <br />Ana, California, of <br />State of California, <br />said Council desires <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California <br />as the legislative body of said city, has initiated and does by this <br />Resolution initiate proceedings for the annexation to the City of Ssnta <br /> <br /> all that certain property in the County of Orange, <br /> con~ig~oum to said city, and that the reasons why <br /> to aanex said territory to said city are as follows: <br /> That heretofore there was formed 0range County Water <br /> Works District No. 6 for the purpose of installing <br /> certain water mains a~d services to the property ly- <br /> ing South of St. Andrews Place ~ d North of St. Ger- <br /> trudes Place, same being Blocks G, H md I in Tract <br /> No. 696, which said district included land lying North <br /> of said territory to a distance of 135 feet North of <br /> the center line of St. Andrews Place, and which said <br /> district had a small extension of territory extending <br /> East 160 feet from Standard Avenue. <br /> <br />That thereafter, during 1946, certain territory was <br />annexed to the City of Santa Aha which included most <br />but not all of said Orange County Water Works District <br />No. 6. That the territory so annexed to the City of <br />Santa ~ua desires and has requested water and sewer <br />service, and in order most effectively ~d efficiently <br />to install and render this service requires the in- <br />clusion in the City of S~ta Ana of all the territor~ <br />of s~d Orange County Water Works District No. 6. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br /> <br /> City of Santa A ua, hereby declares its intention to annex all that certain <br />Unhabttated <br />/territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California and <br /> <br /> <br />
