RESOLUTION No. 3942 RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO VACATE A CERTAIN UNIMPROVED STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ACROSS LAND BELONG- ING TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ENOWN~S THE NISSONPROPERTY AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF ALL PERSONS INTER- ESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO SAID VACATION WHEREAS, the City Council has negotiated a sale of a portion of the property lying between Broadway and Main Streets, known as the Nisson Property; and WherEAS, there is a portion of a right-of-way across said property for street purposes which has never been improvad or opened to the public as a street which said right-of-way can now serve no useful purpose as a street or otherwise; NOW, TP~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby de- clares its intention to proceed with the abandonment and vacation of said portion of a certain unimproved street right-of-way across land belonging to the City of Santa Ana, known as the Nisson Prop- erty; That said City Council hereby declares its intention to va- cate and abandon that portion of said street right-of-way herein- below described and as shown on and in accordance with an official map thereof, adopted by Resolution Number 3941 on file in the of- lice of the City Clerk of said City and reference is hereby made to said map for further particulars; That the portion of said street right-of-way herein proposed to be vacated lies in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, and is described as follows: Right-of-way for street purposes over the,following: A portion of Lot i of "Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract", as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, at page 624 of Mis- cellaneous Records of Los ~ngeles County, California, de- scribed as follows: A strip of land 60 feet in width, being 30 feet on each side of the following described center line:
