RESOLUTION NO. AO14 RESOLUTION CONCER~JING SUB~ISSION OF APPLICATION FOR ALLO~T OF T~ STATE'S SH~E OF THE COST OF PREP~ING PLA3IS FOR THE CONSTR~CTION OF A FIRE STATION LOCATED AT EDIfieR AND BROADWAY. BE !T~ESOLVED BY THE CIT!! COUNCIL OFT HE CiTY OFSANTAANA, AS FOLLOWS: lo 'FHEREAS, the State of California under chapter 47, Statutes of 1944, (4th Extra Session) has aL~propriated funds for allotment by the Director of Finance to provide financial assistance to Local Agencies defined therein as counties, cities or cities and co?3nties for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half of the cost of pre- paring engineering field surveys, engineering or architectural designs, and working and detailed drawings and specifications (hereinafter called 'Plans') reguired for postwar public works projects described as 'specific projects' in said Act: and 2. ~VHE~EAS, the City of Santa Ana, hereinafter designated as 'Local Agency', desires to apply to the Director of Finance and/or the Postwar public '~orks Review Board, as the case may be, for an a41otment of the State's share of the estimated cost of preparing the completed plans hereinafter mentioned and %here has been prepared aha presented to this Legislative Body for consideration an application for such purpose; and 3. WHEREAS, Local Agency has provided, or will make available upon approval of the aforementioned application, sufficient funds to prepare the completed plans herein mentioned~ 4. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOI~ED, that Local Agency submit the aforesaid applica- tionto the Directo~ of Finance and/or the Post. ar Public ~orks Review Board, as the case may be, requesting allotment of Two thousand six hundred sixty ~h~e&!~d~34~/1GO~ollars ($2,663.45) being not more than one-half the cost of preparing said completed plans, of for such amount as maybe approved by the Director of Finance and/or the Postwar Public ~;;orks Review Board, (said allotment to be used for the purpose of defraying the cost of preparing said co~Gpleted plans required) for a specific project to be under- taken by local agency and described as construction of Fire station.
