RESOLUTION NO. ~021 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONCERNING SUBMISSION OF REQUEST FOR SITE <br />ACQUISITION A~D TO THE POST~AR PUBLIC WORKS REVIE~ <br />BOARD FOR STATE'S SHARE OF COST OF SUCH ACQUTSITION. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S~NTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. WHEP~EAS, the State of C~ifornia under Ohapter 47, Statutes of <br /> 194~ (4th Extra Session) has appropriated funds for allotment to <br /> provide financial assistance to Local Agencies defined therein as <br /> counties, cities, or cities ~nd counties for the purpose of defray- <br /> ing not to exceed one-half the cost of acquiring rights-of-way or <br /> sites for public works projects determined to be desirable in post- <br /> war public works programs of such Local Agencies, and <br /> <br /> 2. WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana hereinafter designated as ~Local~' <br /> Agency~, desires to submit its request for State aid in the acquisi- <br /> tion of a right-of-way or site under said Act~ and <br /> <br />3. WHEREAS, ~za~de~ the Postwar Public Works ~eview Board for <br />such aid has been prepared and presented to~hisEegislati~e Body <br />for consideration; and <br /> <br />4. WHEEEAS, Local Agency has made provisions for paying one-half <br />or more of cost of such acquisition; <br /> <br />5. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit the <br />aforesaid request for acquisition aid to the Postwar Public Works <br />Review Board for the State,s share of the cost of such acquisition; <br />and <br /> <br />6, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local Agency hereby certifies that <br />the total estimated cost to be paid for the acquisition of the right- <br />of-way site for which it is requesting aid under said Act is <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br /> <br />
