It shall be unlawful to circulate, pass, or distribute upon the public streets or tu any ~ublic place or within any vehicle upon said public streets, or in said public places, or at all, within the corporate limits of the City of Santa Ana, any circular, poster, notice, card, or other adverti- sing matter, except th~ ~hfs ordinance shall not prohibit any person from clrculatin~, p~sslng, or distributing, clrculsrs, pos- tars, notices, c~rds, or other advertising matter in and upon ~roPerty which is then under his control. Section 2. The City Clerk shall cause this ordinance tO be oublished three times in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Regis-' tar, a newspaper of ~eneral circulation published and circulated in said city, and it shall take effect thirty days after the date of first publication thereof. The above ordinance was introduced on the 2Vth day.of August, 1923, and adopted on the following vote, to wit: Ayes: Trustees, C.H.
