207 ORDINANCE NO. ~33. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, AS THE CITY COUNCIL TItEREOF, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER AN i~PROVEMENT IN SAID CITY, DESCRIBING THE i%'~PROVEMENT, THE LAND NECESSARY TO BE TAKEN THEREFOR, AND THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITTED BY SAID I~.~PROVEMENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE EX- PENSES THEHEOF, TO BE ItNOWN AS q~qE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, REFERRING TO A MAP APrROVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES 0F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, INDIUATING BY A BOUIfDARY LINE THE EXTENT OF THE TERRITORY TO BE INCi UDED IN SAID ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, OHDERING SAID MAP TO BE FILED IN TILE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER, DIRECTING THE POSTING AND THE PUBLICATI0I~ OF NOTICE, DESIGNATING A NE~,SPAPER FOR THAT PUHPOSE, AND I~EQUIRING TI~E MAILING OF NOTICES. The Board se follows: Section 1. of TrUstees of the City of Santa Aha do ordai~ Public interest and convenience requires that the City of Sants Ano extend ~nd open, ss extended, Sycamore Street in the said city, to the uses of ~ublic travel. The Board of Trust~es of said city hereby declares its intention to extend and open, es extended, ~ycamore blreet, ss follows: f Beginning ~t the point of intersection of t~e North line of West ~,ashtngton ~vcnue with t~e Northerly extended line of Sycamore Street; thence ~.esterly along the ~orth llne of ~est Washington Avenue a distance of thirty (Z0) feet; thence Northerl in ~ straight l~ne to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block B, Swanner's Addition accordin~ to a mad on file in Miscellaneous MaD Book 5, P~ges 5 and 6, Records of 0r~nge County, California; thence Easterly ~long the Oouth line of Swsnner's Addition a dls~ tance of ~xty (60) feet to the Southwest corner of Lot l, BI~ A, Swanner's Addition as per map recorded in Book 19, Page 46, Miscellaneous Hecords of Los Angeles County, C~lifornia.; thence Southerly o~rallel to the second mentioned course to ~n intersec- tion with the North line of ~aShington Avenue, thirty (30) feet i Easterly from the ~ortherly extended center line of North Sycemore Street; thence Westerly ~long the ~orth line of ~est Washing~on Avenue s distance of t~irty (Z0) feet to the point of begi~ning.'~ The use hereinafter in this'ordinance of the work "improvement" mea'ns and sh~ll be held and construed to mean the extension!of the described street and the opening thereof as ex- tended. ~ Section 2. For and in the extension and opening ss ex- tended of Sycamore Ltreet it will be necessary to take land and the land necessary to be taken therefor is described ~s in Sectio~ 1 of this ordinance ~nd by reference thereto the description tt~. in set forth is made a hart of Section 2 of this ordinance, t~ same as though set out in full herein. Section 3.
