0RDINANOE NO. 1295 AN ORDINANOE AMENDING ORDINANOE NO. 1089 TEE 00UNOIL OF T~ OITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That 0ity 0rdinanoe Number 1089 entitled "AN ORDI- NANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE AND DISCHARGE OF CERTAIN TYPES O~ FIRE- WO_WW~ AND EXPLOSIVES, AND REGULATING ~ SELLING, DISPLAYING AND DIS- ONARGING OF OT~ F~-~EWCRKS AND EXPLOSIVES AND REQUIRING LIOENSES FOR T~E SA?.~ THEREOF", is hereby amended by amending Section ~ thereof to read as follows: "Section %: Permits for the sale of safe and sane fire- works shall be issued only to established places of business as herein defined and to es%ablished organizations or associations, service, fraternal, or religious, which have existed continuously in the City of Santa Ann for more than six months prior to the date of such application. Applications for such permits shall be filed with the Fire Chief of the City of Santa Ann on or before the 15th day of ~une of each year, commencing with the year 19~0. Such application shall be accompanied by a detailed statement of each and every kind of fireworks proposed to be sold under said permit, and shall contain the street address or location where said fireworks will be sol~, with sufficient detail so that the property may be easily located and inspected. Said Fire Chief shall examine such application and shall issue such permit to such applicant if all of the provisions of this 0rdinanoe have been complied with. Should sal~ detailed statement contain any type of fireworks prohibited herein, then such type shall be stricken from such statement prior to the issuance of said permit, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation obtaining such permit to ~lsplay or sell any kind of fireworks not described in such detailed statement or any type stricken therefrom. The fee for such permit shall be Fi~e~$$.00) Dollar per year. Such permit shall expire One (1) year after issuance."
