Delivery: Immediate <br />if purchase order received within seven days of <br />bid opening. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br /> <br />bids were referred to the Administrator and City Engineer for report <br /> <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Dahl, <br /> <br />seconded by Jerome and carried, <br /> <br />the Clerk <br /> <br />was authorized to open bids for the furnishing of between 400,000 <br />and 600,000 pounds of chlorine supplied in containers of 2,000 pound <br /> <br />capacity net weight, as follows: <br /> <br />Bid of J6hn Wiley Jones Co.: Bond in the amount <br />$2550,00. <br />Item 1 $3.95 per 100 lbs. <br />Item 2 $4.63 per 100 lbs. <br />Item 3 no bid <br />Plus sales tax on basis of $3.95 per 100 lbs. <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Bid of The Dow Chemical Company: Bond in the am(~unt <br />of $2600.00. <br />Item I $3.95/100# <br />Item 2 $ .31/100# <br />Item 3 $4.26/100# <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the bid <br /> <br />were referred to the Engineer of the Joint Outfall Sewer for report <br />to the Executive Board and recommendation to the Council. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing protests on annexation to the <br /> <br />City of certain territory designated as south of Delhi Road and east <br /> <br />of Standard Avenue, known as "Townsend Annexation~ and no protests <br /> <br />having been received, on motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Dabl <br /> <br />and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare the neoessar <br /> <br />Ordinance. <br />. <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, <br /> <br />seconded by Hunter and carried, the <br /> <br />following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1074# <br /> <br />to reclassify from R-1 to R-2 District Lots 18, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87 <br />and 88 in Tract No. 1508 which property lies north of the market <br /> <br />property located on the northwest corner of Bristol and Edinger <br /> <br />Streets, was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for <br /> <br />second reading. <br />,, <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, <br /> <br />seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br /> <br />lng Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution Accepting Grant Deed" <br /> <br />from H.J. and Clara M.
