22 <br /> SECTION VI <br />ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY <br />BENEFITS TO THE CITY <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Related Bristol at 3600 South Bristol Street September 27, 2023 <br />Community Benefits Analysis Report <br /> <br />www.FinanceDTA.com <br />The Community Benefits attained by implementing the City’s air quality program include: <br />1. Consistency with the City’s Climate Action Plan, development standards, new infill <br />residential development goals, and transportation demand management goals. <br />2. Promotion of alternative transportation uses in the City, including pedestrian, <br />bicycling, public transportation, car sharing programs, and other emerging <br />technologies. <br />3. Support of transportation management goals requiring investment in improvements <br />to the City’s Transportation Management System, including projects or programs <br />that facilitate the flow of traffic and reduce traffic congestion. Traffic congestion <br />may be reduced by encouraging public investment in low- or zero-emission vehicles <br />and requiring continuing <br />investment in low-emission or <br />zero-emission vehicles to replace <br />the City’s gasoline powered vehicle <br />fleet. The Project will also <br />implement sustainable <br />infrastructure strategies, such as <br />vehicle charging stations, drop-off <br />areas for ridesharing services, <br />secure bicycle parking, and <br />transportation demand <br />management programs. <br />4. Coordination with Orange County Transportation Authority (“OCTA”) employees <br />and developers to utilize strategies and education to reduce vehicle trips and parking <br />demands. <br />5. Incorporation of energy conservation design and construction of conservation <br />features for new construction and rehabilitation projects encouraging business and <br />industry to improve performance in energy efficiency, water conservation, and <br />waste reduction programs. <br />6. Compliance with Transit-Oriented Development (“TOD”) goals for residential <br />mixed-use development within the City’s district centers and urban neighborhoods <br />and adjacent to high-quality transit facilities. <br />7.
