SYSTEM SUPPORT <br />4.1 WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT PLAN <br />Motorola recognizes GSA/Orange County Communications as Santa Ana Police <br />Department's first echelon service provider. <br />The attached maintenance support plan for the City of Santa Ana Police Department <br />data communications system enhancement is comprised of the following four key <br />elements; <br />System Support Center Depot Repair <br />System Support Center Board Loaner/Exchange Program <br />System Support Center Premier Technical Support <br />Radio Support Center Depot Repair <br />4.2 SYSTEM SUPPORT CENTER <br />The System Support Center (SSC) is a Motorola Service Depot providing component <br />level board repair, board loaner and exchange services, remote diagnostics, technical <br />phone support, and central dispatch services to customers of Motorola fixed -end radio <br />communications equipment globally. <br />4.2. 1 Depot Repair <br />4.2.1.1 Service Description <br />The SSC will fully system test and repair malfunctioning boards down to the <br />component level utilizing state of the art automated test equipment. If the unit is not <br />manufactured by Motorola, the unit may be returned to the original equipment <br />manufacturer (OEM) for repair. <br />4.2.1.2 How to Obtain Service <br />❖ Call the SSC at 800-323-9949 to request warranty or maintenance help through <br />central dispatch.
