Sycamore <br />Btn 2nd and 3rd Sts. <br /> <br />iIn Re _ <br />IIProposed National <br />llGuard Armory site <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br /> <br />matter as to the width of the right-of-way and the width of the <br /> <br />channel necessary to carry off the storm waters for the property to <br />be annexed, was referred to the Manager and Assistant Engineer for <br /> <br />written report. <br />. <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, <br />on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by McBride an~ carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 53-160 Concerning Parking <br />Limitations and Curb Markings in Accordance <br />Therewith# <br /> <br />establishing a twelve minute zone on the west side of Spurgeon Street <br /> <br />between. Second and Third Streets, in accordance with the request of <br /> <br />the Pacific Greyhound Lines, was considered and passed by the follow- <br /> <br />lng vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />William Jerome, J.L.McBride, <br />Thomas F. Chandler. <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Dahl, <br /> <br />Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, <br /> <br />on motion of Councilman Jerome, <br /> <br />seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br /> <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 53-161 Concerning Parking <br />Limitations and Curb Markings in Accordance <br />Therewith" <br /> <br />abandoning the yellow zone established on the west side of North <br /> <br />Sycamore Street between Second and Third Streets, established by <br /> <br />Resolution No. 3324, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />William Jerome, J.L.McBride, <br />Thomas F. Chandler. <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Dahl, <br /> <br />The Manager reported that a deed for the three and one-half acres <br />along Delhi Road and Central Avenue <br /> <br />designated as a site for the Santa <br /> <br />Ana National Guard Armory will be offered to the State but a rcversion <br /> <br />clause will be included which would let the property revert back to <br /> <br />the City if actual construction on the Armory is not completed within <br /> <br />one year. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and <br /> <br />carried, the recommendation of the Manager was approved. <br /> <br /> <br />
