Sycamore Btn 2nd and 3rd Sts. iIn Re _ IIProposed National llGuard Armory site On motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Dahl and carried, the matter as to the width of the right-of-way and the width of the channel necessary to carry off the storm waters for the property to be annexed, was referred to the Manager and Assistant Engineer for written report. . The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by McBride an~ carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 53-160 Concerning Parking Limitations and Curb Markings in Accordance Therewith# establishing a twelve minute zone on the west side of Spurgeon Street between. Second and Third Streets, in accordance with the request of the Pacific Greyhound Lines, was considered and passed by the follow- lng vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noes, Councilmen Absent, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Thomas F. Lateen, Milford W. Courtney R. Chandler. None None Dahl, Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 53-161 Concerning Parking Limitations and Curb Markings in Accordance Therewith" abandoning the yellow zone established on the west side of North Sycamore Street between Second and Third Streets, established by Resolution No. 3324, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noes, Councilmen Absent, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Thomas F. Larsen, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler. None None The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman McBride, seconded by Dahl and carried, the. following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 53-162 Concerning Parking Limitations and Curb Markings in Accordance Therewith# establishing a yellow zone on the west side of North Sycamore Street between Second and Third Streets, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noes, Councilmen Absent, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Thomas F. Lateen, Milford W. Courtney R. Chandler. None None Dahl, The Manager reported that a deed for the three and one-half acres along Delhi Road and Central Avenue designated as a site for the Santa Ana National Guard Armory will be offered to the State but a rcversion clause will be included which would let the property revert back to the City if actual construction on the Armory is not completed within one year. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and carried, the recommendation of the Manager was approved.
