SOLICITATION # CH16012 <br />TECHNICAL RESPONSE <br />This section should constitute the Technical response of the proposal and must contain at least the <br />following information: <br />A. A complete narrative of the Offeror's assessment of the Cloud Solutions to be provided, the <br />Offerors ability and approach, and the resources necessary to fulfill the requirements. This should <br />demonstrate the Offeror's understanding of the desired overall performance expectations and <br />clearly indicate any options or alternatives proposed. <br />In response to the State of Utah request for Cloud Solution Proposals, Carahsoft has assembled a <br />response that includes a number of Cloud Solution Offerings from within the Carahsoft Cloud framework. <br />These offerings are all supported in part or wholly by twelve leading cloud technology providers. Each <br />provider's technology is an integral part of Carahsoft's proposal. Within this framework, Carahsoft will <br />orchestrate, assemble, and execute on all activities necessary to support this contract, engaging each <br />cloud technology provider as needed in the delivery of a particular service or solution offering. <br />The Carahsoft Cloud framework will provide for all requirements of the State of Utah Request for Proposal <br />to be fulfilled. Carahsoft will be able to provide Cloud Solution Offerings to the State of Utah as well as to <br />those entities that may participate via the cooperative purchasing program. The Carahsoft Cloud proposal <br />provides for the provision of PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS offerings that are compliant with all requirements as <br />outlined by the State. Carahsoft will provide dedicated resources to supporting this agreement. Carahsoft <br />will insure that adequate resources are supplied to fully support this agreement during all phases from <br />contract launch through termination. Usage requirements and demand resources fluctuate over time and <br />Carahsoft's Cloud offering has been constructed in a manner that provides for the ability to scale without <br />interruption, disruption, or any other similar interruption of customer service and solution availability. <br />B. A specific point -by -point response, in the order listed, to each requirement in the Section 8 of the <br />RFP. Offerors should not provide links to a website as part of its response. <br />Offeror's should focus their proposals on the technical qualifications and capabilities described in the RFP. <br />Offerors should not include sales brochures as part of their response. <br />For the purposes of Carahsoft's response to the technical requirements (section 8) of this RFP, please note <br />that any response provided related to a specific manufacturer should be treated as a response to the <br />following categories: <br />SaaS — AODocs, CA Technologies, DocuSign, FireEye, Google, QTS, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, <br />Virtru, VMware <br />PaaS — Google, QTS, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Virtustream <br />IaaS — FireEye, Google, QTS, Virtustream, VMware <br />8.1 —Technical Reauirements <br />8.1.1 Offeror must identify the cloud service model(s) and deployment model(s) it intends to provide to <br />Eligible Users.
