SOLICITATION # CH16012 <br />Carahsoft's multiple Cloud Service Provider's solution provides for Resource Pooling, as defined by NIST, <br />in a variety of methods. Each method optimizes the cloud subscriber's experience while optimizing the <br />availability of compute, network, and data resources. Each service provider provides Resource Pooling, <br />see below for details. <br />CA <br />APM <br />CA API Management SaaS (SaaS APIM) has been built from the ground up to be a <br />multi -tenanted, SaaS-based offering that leverages Amazon's infrastructure to scale <br />appropriately; utilize a continuous integration model to provide for frequent updates; <br />and fail over across multiple availability zones. <br />MAA <br />MAA core service utilizes dedicated infrastructure layered with virtualization <br />capabilities. It doesn't share computing resources with other services. Tenants are <br />segregated using application containerization capabilities. <br />CA Agile <br />We monitor all system resources and have alerting mechanisms when resource <br />constraints have reached a defined threshold. We can easily scale our systems to <br />accommodate any additional capacity. If we determine a single user is using a <br />significant amount of resources we will proactively reach out to them to understand <br />what they are trying to accomplish and help them to formulate more performant <br />queries. <br />ASM <br />All ASM core servers are dedicated physical servers. ASM Public Status Pages are <br />served from dedicated web servers (used only by CA ASM) in the Amazon Cloud, on <br />shared tenancy virtualization. Amazon Cloud virtual machines used by ASM are <br />managed by and provisioned by CA ASM systems administrators. <br />Google <br />SaaS, Google's global infrastructure is a shared pool of resources that dynamically serve each <br />end user with a primary data center access point that may rotate throughout the session without <br />the end user being aware while at the same time replicating any data across at least two additional <br />geographically dispersed data centers which also may rotate through the session. <br />PaaS/laaS, Google Cloud Platform also operates across the global Google infrastruture. The <br />elements of this service can be defined within the Developer's console to run within a higher level <br />of abstraction which covers four regions; Central US, Eastern US, Western Europe, East Asia <br />where each region has three or four zones. <br />AODocs <br />AODocs infrastructure is hosted in Google App Engine and data of our customers on Google <br />Drive. This protection is insured by Google. <br />Virtru <br />Virtru Services are offered in a fully multi -tenant mode if the customer requests. <br />Salesforce <br />Salesforce is a multitenant cloud -based subscription service. Multi -tenant cloud solutions provide a <br />single, shared infrastructure, one code base, one platform that is all centrally managed, with <br />platform -based API to support all integration traffic, and multiple release upgrades included as part <br />of the subscription service. Multi -tenancy and the Cloud Computing model remove unneeded <br />tasks from the process of delivering, managing, and integrating software. Salesforce customers <br />will not need to maintain any hardware or software. Without multiple versions to support, <br />integrations don't break during updates; they are simply updated automatically. As a result, both <br />the initial integration and its continued maintenance are simplified. More resources can be focused <br />on creating a better product, with a faster cycle of innovation, instead of having to manage the <br />complexity of many different versions to support a vast installed base. <br />Salesforce's position as an online service enables us to roll out all levels of improvement, from <br />patch releases to major upgrades that are largely transparent to the end users. When a bug is <br />fixed and tested, it is rolled out to the application as part of regular maintenance; the nature of the <br />service prevents special patches and code branches for individual customers, so all fixes can <br />potentially benefit all customers. <br />ServiceNow <br />The ServiceNow environment is a private cloud, fully owned and operated by ServiceNow, which <br />supports a logically single tenant architecture.
