It includes an organization's people, processes and IT systems and the application of a risk management process. vCloud Air has established and implemented an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 standards to manage risks relating to confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. vCloud Air engages an independent third party auditing firm on an on -going basis to validate vCloud's air adherence to the ISO 27001 standard. An ISO 27001 certificate is issued if the auditing firm has validated adherence to the standard.
