If the <br />independent contractor is placed directly, SAP Fieldglass will conduct the background <br />check. <br />Background checks include the following: <br />• Social Security Trace <br />• Statewide & National Criminal Report (7 years) <br />• Sex Offender Registry & Terrorist Watch <br />• Compliance Authorities Database Checks — Global (OFAC level verification) <br />• Education verification <br />• Employment verification (7 years) <br />• Global Sanctions & Prohibited Parties <br />• Credit (only for specific finance roles) <br />1.4.8 Hosting Facility Security Personnel <br />The security office duties include: <br />• Response to calls for assistance <br />• Security facility inspections <br />• Fire and safety patrols <br />• Shipping / receiving security <br />• Physical security audits and assessments <br />1.5 Network Security <br />The SAP Fieldglass network infrastructure includes redundant components, firewalls, and <br />24/7 monitoring. <br />1.5.1 Redundant Components <br />Most network components are internally redundant. For example, routers have <br />redundant power supplies; servers have redundant drives, power supplies, and NIC cards. <br />Additionally, all network components are redundant to provide redundancy and security <br />in the event of a component failure. <br />1.5.2 Private Virtual LANs <br />The application network architecture has been designed with multiple private virtual <br />LANs using redundant Cisco routers. Every major network layer is placed on its own virtual <br />LAN with rules about which protocols and ports are accessible. <br />1.5.3 Firewall <br />SAP Fieldglass has implemented dual -vendor redundant firewalls between the public <br />internet and the SAP Fieldglass private network, as well as between each virtual LAN.
