CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />PROJECT NO.: 25-6030 <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT SEGERSTROM AVENUE AND ROSEWOOD <br />AVENUE <br />e. Field Output Termination Assembly (16 Channels) <br />The 16-Channel Field Output Termination Assembly shall be coupled with the <br />16-Channel Output Assembly and shall accommodate eight Model 2 1 H High - <br />Density Flash Transfer Relays (HDFTR). The HDFTRs and Flash Program <br />Blocks (FPB) shall control and select the color (red, yellow, or dark) during <br />ATC Cabinet flash mode. Each HDFTR position shall be labeled with the <br />number of its associated HDSP (1-16). Each FPB position shall be labeled <br />with the number of its associated channel (1-16). Approved Load Terminal <br />Block receptacle shall be provide for Field Wire terminations. A minimum of <br />two termination shall be provided for each output signal. Labels shall be <br />provided to clearly indicate which terminals correspond to the red, yellow and <br />green switch pack outputs. <br />f. Service Assembly <br />The Service Assembly shall be modular and shall be mounted on the left of <br />the EIA rail when viewed from the front. It shall accommodate Cabinet <br />Suppressor —Filter, and be provided GFCI, Circuit Breakers, terminal blocks <br />for termination of utility AC+ and BBS landing wire terminals. <br />g. Auxiliary Display Unit (Model 2220 ADU) <br />The Auxiliary Display Unit (ADU) is a modular display that provides an <br />enhanced user interface for the ATC Cabinet Monitor Unit system. The unit <br />provides a display function in a modular fashion for the installed cabinet <br />monitor unit and utilizes an LED based channel output status display and a <br />menu driven LCD display to view status, configuration, and logs. <br />h. Electronic Components: <br />Each cabinet shall be provided with the following electronic components: <br />• Three (3) Model 2218 (SIU) <br />• Nine (9) Model 2202 High Density Switchpack/Flasher Unit —HV <br />• One (1) Model 2212 Cabinet Monitor — HV (CMU) <br />• One (1) Model 2220 Auxiliary Display Unit (ADU) <br />
