<br /> TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT SEGERSTROM AVENUE AND ROSEWOOD

<br /> all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals and no additional compensation will be
<br /> allowed therefore.
<br /> Bid Item No. 11 - Fiber Optic Splice Enclosure
<br /> This work consists of installing a Corning Cable Systems Fiber Optic Splice Closure including
<br /> splice trays,pigtails, connectors, and labeling as indicated on plans.
<br /> Payment for the installation of Fiber Optic Splice Enclosure, shall be at contract unit price bid
<br /> per Each Item listed in the Bid Proposal and shall be considered full compensation for furnishing
<br /> all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals and no additional compensation will be
<br /> allowed therefore.
<br /> Bid Item No. 12 - Signing and Striping
<br /> Removal of all traffic striping and pavement markings shall be by wet blasting. All traffic striping
<br /> may be removed by wet sandblasting with the Engineer's approval, shall be completely removed
<br /> to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Any damaged pavement due to pavement removal
<br /> (Grinding),SHALL be repair to maintain a smooth and uniform surface. All removal areas
<br /> shall be slurry sealed by rubberized slurry seal. Slurry seal shall cover from lane line to lane
<br /> line unless directed otherwise by the engineer.
<br /> Payment for Signing and Striping shall be at the contract unit price bid per Lump Sum listed in the
<br /> Bid Proposal,and shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor,materials,tools,equipment,
<br /> disposal of all removed materials and incidentals as required,and no additional compensation will be
<br /> allowed therefore.
<br /> Bid Item No. 13 - Pothole Pole Location for Utility Conflicts
<br /> The work under this item consists of potholing for traffic signal equipment location as shown on
<br /> the plans. One pothole bid item includes all utilities found in the pothole, not per utility.
<br /> The work under this item consists of mobilizing the Contractor's workforce, labor, equipment,
<br /> and materials;providing bonds, insurance, and license; demobilizing; and performing final
<br /> cleanup. All work shall be performed to the satisfaction of the Engineer.
<br /> Payment for Pothole Pole Location for Utility Conflicts shall be considered full compensation
<br /> for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, removals,paving, landscape repair, irrigation
<br /> repair, root shaving, sidewalk restoration, pothole and trench backfill per City Std. Plan 1150,
<br /> permanent asphalt replacement, permanent PCC replacement and appurtenances for all related
<br /> items of work necessary for the installation.No additional compensation will be allowed therefore.
<br /> Bid Item No. 14 - Pothole Utilities Not Shown on Plan
<br /> Payment for Pothole Utilities Not Shown on Plan, shall be at contract unit price bid per Each
<br /> Item listed in the Bid Proposal and shall be considered full compensation for furnishing all labor,
<br /> materials, tools, equipment,removals, paving, landscape repair, sidewalk restoration,pothole and
