ChanOler <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councl]men <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Dmhl, seconded by Jerome and carrie~, that <br /> <br /> the Clerk write a letter to The Salvation Army advising that the <br /> property use has be'eh <br /> Ordinance requiring a speci~l licvnse for public <br /> <br /> adopted ~nd becomes effective within thirty days, and suggesting that <br /> they submit their application for use of ~ublic property. <br /> <br />The Manager reported that the bi,Is submitted for the r~-pa.vin~ of <br />Thir5 Street from Ross to Spurgeon Streets we:~e too ~igh and work can <br />be done by City Forces as provided by Section ~21 of the Charter, at <br />price of $16,735.00, and recommended that the bifs be declared excess- <br />ive and authority given to have the work ~one by force account. On <br />motion, of Co~mcilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, all bi~s <br />w?e rejected and checks ordered returned, because the bids were ezces <br />ire. Councilman McBr~de stated that Sidney Lowry, Civil Engineer, be <br />instructed to go over the specifications and determine if it is <br />necessary to t~ar up this street. It was moved by Councilman McBride <br />seconded by Lars~n and carried, that Sidney Lowry be employed as <br /> <br /> <br />
