On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Jerome seconded by Dahl and carried, the bid of J.S.Bar~tt, in the sum of $39,936.76 vms accepted for the construction of storm drain on Fruit In Re Request Ftnney Auto Glass (parking) Street from French to Lincoln Streets, and all other bids rejected. ,, The Manager reported thst the problem of parking facilities at the Finney Auto Glares, 1-[09 North Ross Street, has bzen adjusted to the satisfaction of the applicant ~,zith the aid of the neighboring merchan' and no action is necessary on the pa~t of the C''-' ~. On motion of Councilman Dsh!, seconded by Jerome and carried, the ora! report was In Re Time on parking meters accepted. The Manager reported that no meeting has been scheduled with the Chamber of Commerce reference metered time on the parking meters, to conform to the shopping hours, end requested additional time. On motion of Councilman Lar~en, seconded by Dmhl smd carried, the matter In Re Request Frances W. King (stop signs) ,~.~.as held over until the next meeting. The Mansger requested additional time on the request of Frances W. King that stop sig~s be installed at the corner of 15th and Bush Streets, and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Lateen and carried, the matter x,ras continued until the ne~t m~ ~=ng.
