<br />3rd and 4th Streets, in accordance with request of F.R.Harwood, Post-

<br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Dahl and carried, escrow
<br />instructions were approved and ordered signed for property of R.
<br />Gallagher, in the sum of $250.00, for property on South Main Street.
<br />Communication was read from the Division of Highways reference pro-
<br />posed relocation and ultimate development as a Freeway of State High-
<br />way Routes 2 and 19. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by
<br />Markel and carried, the communication was received, filed and the
<br />Division of Highways notified that the City of Santa Aha does not
<br />desire a public hearing on the proposed Brea Canyon Freeway.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried,
<br />Courtney R. Chandler was granted permission to leave the State from
<br />May 16th to June let, 1955, inclusive.
