On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and the variano~ of L.L.Barnett was granted to permit the manufacture of electronic timing and control equipment, telemetering system, data recording.,etc. for a period of only three years at 506 East First Street. Communication of the Planning. Commission was read submitting Resolutlo~ No. 838 recommending the reclassification of property located on the as requested by Thomas Shoen, east side of Pacific Avenue between First and Pine Streetsa_/from the R-1 to the R-2 District. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, a notice was ordered published setting the date of public hearing as August 15th, 1955. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Record of Survey Map filed by John V. Sarinana showing a parcel of lan~ south of 8th Street and west of English Street, bond in the sum of $1400.00 and agreement, were approved. # On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, Tentativ. Map of Tract No. 1960, 'submitted by J.W.Pogolianich, on property located on 8th, 9th and 10th Streets at King Street, and consisting of 33 lots, was approved, subject to conditions as imposed by the Depart- ment of Public Works and the Planning Department. # On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Helnly and carried, the Tenta- tive Map, submitted by Continental Baking Company, showing a-parcel of land which has a f~ontage of 183.73' on the south side of First Street and a depth of 368' from center line of First Street, at Pacific Avenu~ was approved, subject to the conditions as imposed by the Department of Public Works and the Planning Department. # It was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Heinly and carried, that escrow instructions be approved and signed with Hans L. Wolff, as Guardian of the estate of Else Wolff, in the sum of $300.00, for property north of Eighth Street between Artesia and English Streets. It was moved by Councilman Heinly, seconded by Dahl and carried, that escrow instructions be approved and signed with Interstate Bakeries Corporation, for sanitary sewer located north of Roe D~ive. #
