<br /> On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br /> communication from Metropolitan Water District submitting certified
<br /> copy of Resolution No. 4645 adopted by the Boa'~d of Directors, levying
<br /> a tax for the fiEcal year 1955-56 upon taxable property taxable by s al(
<br /> District, including taxable property lying within the City, were
<br /> received and filed.
<br />On motion of Co~ncilman Heinly,~ seconded by Jerome and carried, the ·
<br />communication from the State Department of Public Works, Division of
<br />HighwayS, giving hotice of intention to relinquish a portion of State
<br />Highway, Road VII-0ra-2-SA, along First Street between the center line of
<br />Mabury Street and the easterly boundary llne of the City, was received
<br />and filed.

<br />On motion of Councilman Jerome,' seconded by Markel and carried, com-
<br />munication dated August 30th, 1955, together with Re~olution No. 1285,
<br />a~ising of proposed annexation of certain real property, was received
<br />and filed.
