On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman <br />Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the communication was receivedli <br />and filed. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, <br />on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the fol- <br /> <br />lowing Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 55-297 concerning parking <br />limitations and curb markings in accord- <br />ance therewith" <br /> <br />wa~ considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Dale H. Chandler <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the <br /> <br />Attorney was instructed to prepare an amendment .to the Ordinance pro- <br /> <br />riding for five cents per hour parking at the Municipal Parking Lot onl <br /> <br />West Third Street. ,; <br />" ii <br />The Manager stated he would like to have an architect selected for the <br /> <br />drawing of plans, specifications and the design for the first unit of <br />the new corporation yard on Delhi Road. It was moved by Councilman <br />Markel, seconded by Jerome that Architects Parks and Davis be engaged <br />to prepare the plans and specifications and design the building. <br /> <br /> Roll Call Ayss, Councilmen J. Dahl <br /> Motion carried. <br /> # <br /> <br /> Councilman Markel suggested that the Council as a group should hold <br /> monthly tours of the City on a regular schedule. It was moved by <br /> Councilman Markel, seconded by Dahl and carried, that on the first <br /> <br />Monday of each month, the Council and administrative officials shall <br /> <br />meet at 1:00 P.M. for the purpose of making such tours. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Jerome and carried, Arthur <br />M. Bradl~e~ was app6inted as a member of the Library Board to fill the <br /> <br />vacancy created by the resignation of James S.
