Performance Review Schedule <br /> <br />Your performance will be reviewed by your supervisor at <br />least every six months. Salary increase consideration will <br />be given on your annual employment anniversary date. <br /> <br />Your supervisor is encouraged to review your performance <br />every quarter, in order to adjust your annual performance <br />objectives, identify job performance factors which require <br />immediate improvement, and advise you on positive aspects of <br />your performance. <br /> <br />YOU'RE IN CHARGE <br /> <br />The City's Performance-Based Merit Salary Program gives you <br />the opportunity to increase your own salary. The degree to <br />which you take advantage of this opportunity depends on you. <br />Your day-in, day-out performance on the job is the most <br />important factor in determining how fast your salary can <br />increase and how high it can be. <br /> <br />Performance Factors <br /> <br />Your performance appraisal <br />which you have met your <br />behavior. <br /> <br />will be based on the extent to <br />objectives, and your managerial <br /> <br />Objectives Component: <br /> <br />You and your supervisor must jointly establish several <br />objectives for you to accomplish during the year. The <br />objectives must be based on outcomes rather than <br />processes, and must meet the following criteria: <br /> <br /> a. Identifies a single, specific and significant <br /> outcome. <br /> <br />b. Uses an action verb. <br /> <br />c. States when the objective is to be completed. <br /> <br />d. Serves to accomplish City-wide visions and <br /> objectives. <br /> <br /> <br />
