195 <br /> <br />GAS: 5/27/99 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99- 031 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA APPROVING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 98-232, TO <br />SUBDIVIDE A 62 ACRES INTO NINE PARCELS LOCATED AT <br />MACARTHUR PLACE IN SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT NO. 43 (TPM <br />NO.' 98-232) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tentative Parcel Map No. 98-232 has been filed to subdivide <br />an existing 62 acre parcel into 9 lots, located at MacArthur Place in <br />Specific Development No. 43 (the ~Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the design and improvement proposed for Tentative Parcel <br />Map No. 98-232 is consistent with the objectives, policies, general land <br />uses, and programs specified in the City of Santa Aha General Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Environmental Evaluator of the City Of Santa Ana has <br />prepared a Negative Declaration for Environmental Review No. 98-175, <br />pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, for the Project; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing, <br />on May 10, 1999, on Tentative Parcel Map No. 98-232 for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Based upon the evidence submitted at the abovesaid hearing, the <br />City Council finds and determines as follows: <br /> <br />The proposed project, as conditioned, and it s design and <br />improvements are consistent with the General Commercial land use <br />designation of the General Plan and are otherwise consistent with <br />all other elements of the General Plan and any applicable specific <br />plans. <br /> <br />The proposed subdivision is consistent with the City's General <br />Plan, Specific Development No. 43, and all elements thereof, <br />and will have no adverse affect on the surrounding <br />residential, industrial and commercial developments. The <br />subdivision will create parcels that meet or exceed the <br />minimum street frontage requirement within Specific <br />Development No. 43 (MacArthur Place). <br /> <br />The proposed project, as conditioned, conforms to all applicable <br />requirements of the zoning and subdivision codes as well as other <br />applicable City ordinances. <br /> <br />The proposed subdivision conforms to the minimum street <br />frontage requirement within Specific Development No. 43 <br />(MacArthur Place), as well as meeting the intent of the State <br />of California Subdivision Map Act provisions. <br /> <br /> <br />
