<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />29. <br /> <br />MINIMUM SERVICE LEVELS = MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS: <br /> <br />(a) CITY shall require that all residential buildings with <br />three or more dwelling units be served by Bin Service; provided, <br />however, that this requirement may be waived by the Executive <br />Director. The CONTRACTOR shall provide bin containers of such <br />capacity and collections of such frequency for residential <br />buildings required to have Bin Service by this section as to <br />provide for Solid Waste collection of not less than one-half (1/2) <br />of one (1) yard of Solid Waste collection per dwelling unit per <br />week. In all cases, collections shall be made at least once per <br />week. CONTRACTOR shall comply with any request by the Executive <br />Director to change the scheduled collection days for Residential <br />Bin Service Customers which is designed to promote conformity of <br />Bin Service collections in any specified area of the CITY to <br />improve sanitation or reduce noise. <br /> <br />(b) In the event that Solid Waste being disposed of at a <br />Residential Bin Service building exceeds the bin capacity for such <br />building, CONTRACTOR shall notify the Executive Director who shall <br />cause an inspection to be made of the premises. If the Executive <br />Director determines that there is insufficient bin capacity at said <br />location, he shall cause written notification to be given to the <br />property owner and/or person in possession of the property. Said <br />notification shall contain the date of the reported overflow of <br />Solid Waste from the bins. The notice shall also inform the <br />property owner and/or person in possession of the property that <br />should another incident of overcapacity occur within thirty (30) <br />days following the date of the original incident, the property <br />owner and/or person in possession of the property will be required <br />to increase the number of bins, the size of the bin, or the <br />frequency of collections, up to the equivalent of two (2) cubic <br />yards per dwelling unit per week. In the event that this should <br />occur, the Executive Director shall determine whether to increase <br />the number of bins or the frequency of collections and CONTRACTOR <br />shall furnish such additional services and shall be entitled to <br />compensation from the Customers to the same extent as if the <br />Customer requested such additional collections from the CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br />30. <br /> <br />MINIMUM SERVICE LEVELS = COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL BIN SERVICE AND <br />ROLL-OFF SERVICES: <br /> <br />city shall require that all commercial and/or industrial units <br />and/or buildings be served by Bin Service or Roll-Off Service; <br />provided, however, that this requirement may be waived by the <br />Executive Director. In the event that Solid Waste being disposed <br />of at a commercial/industrial bin or roll-off container unit <br />exceeds the bin or roll-off container capacity for such building, <br />CONTRACTOR shall notify the Executive Director who shall cause an <br />inspection to be made of the premises. If the Executive Director <br />determines that there is insufficient bin or roll-off container <br />capacity at said location, he shall cause written notification to <br />be given both to the business and the property owner.
