SALARY INCREASES e a s On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />seconded by Councilman Burk and <br />carried.* the City Council approved <br />salary increases for meritorious services, as listed in Manager's Report <br />dated 12/28/66. <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES ' k <br />w.eX On motion of Councilman McMichael, <br />seconded by Councilman Herrin and <br />carried, the following Applications <br />for Alcoholic Beverage License were ordered filed&, <br />Aztec, 3325 W. 1st - On Sale Beer, Person Transfer; <br />The Chimes, 4522 Bolsa - On Sale General, Person Transfer; <br />Tic Too Market, 402 W. McFadden - New Off Sale Beer & Wine; <br />ABC Store, 3328 Bolsa - Off sale General, Person Transfer. <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT e On motion of Councilmaa McMichael, <br />seconded by Councilman Brooks and <br />carried, transfer of $150,000 from <br />unappropriated monies carried over from prior year in Fund 52 to Fund 52-265 <br />for additional property to expand Portola Park, was approved. <br />UNDERGROUND UTILITIES e,ca A discussion was had regarding the <br />proposed Amendment to the Subdivision <br />Ordinance regarding undergrounding of <br />utilities. The staff was requested to check into the matter further with the <br />utility companies in regard to bringing the cost down. On motion of Council- <br />man Markel, seconded by Councilman Brooks and carried, Council waived further <br />reading and passed to second reading ORDINANCE HS -864 REPEALING AND RE- <br />ENACTING SECTION 933+ AND ADDING SECTIONS 9335, 93360 9337, AND 9338 TO <br />PART 3, CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE <br />FOR UNDERGROUND UTILITY LINES. <br />FTD -74 :; <br />At 3:10 P.M., the meeting was recessed <br />for five minutes and reconvened at <br />3:15 P.M- (Councilman Burk rejoined <br />the meeting at 3:25 P -M-) <br />cows Coli rrEc REPORTS Mayor Harvey asked for reports from the <br />Councilmen serving as liaison representa- <br />tives to the various City Boards and <br />Commissions. <br />MUSEUM BOARD Councilman Brooks and Councilman Herrin <br />reported as Council Committee members <br />of the Museum Board. it was stated that <br />Bruce Spragg has made a report which clarifies the duties of the Museum Board. <br />There is also a proposed resolution which will give the Board a clearer pic- <br />ture of What their responsibilities are. It was suggested that on February 1 <br />a replacement on the Board should be made for Mr. Nicholson. A discussion <br />was had regarding collection of donations and endowments. The Council was of <br />the opinion that more should be done along these lines, that this should be <br />a responsibility of both the Museum Board and the Foundation. The Mayor <br />suggested that Councilman Brooks and Councilman Herrin tell the Museum Board <br />that this is the Council's line of thinking. Councilman Herrin suggested <br />that the Council move to appoint a new member to the Board soon to replace <br />CITY cown -97- January 32 1967 <br />
