At 5:35 P.M. the meeting was recessed <br />to 7:30 P.M. Tiie'meeting was recon- <br />vened at 7:30 P.m. Roll Call was <br />answered by Councilmen James Gilmore, Walter Brooks, Wade Herrin, Tom McMichael.- <br />and <br />cMichael,and Mayor Harry 1, Harvey. Counci3men Davis Burk and J. Ogden Markel were <br />absent. Also present were City Manager Carl J. Thornton and Assistant Clerk <br />of the Council Maxine Vallery. <br />CROSSWALK CR Mrs. Janice Boer, 932 3i. Lowell., spoke <br />regarding the crosswalk at Buffums, <br />stating the crosswalk is in the middle <br />of a very short block between Main and Bmsh, is creating a dangerous situa- <br />tion, and asked if the crosswalk could be removed. Mayor Harvey stated <br />that the Council had authorized the crosswalk about a year ago, but the <br />Council wand look into the situation. <br />cnwf EMMEES Councilman McMichael asked the City <br />Manager to provide the Council with a <br />list of all the City employees with <br />their names, titles and monthly pay scales. <br />ADJOURNIUMT There being no further business to come <br />before the City Council, the meeting <br />was adjourned at T:37 P.M., on motion <br />of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilmen Gilmore and carried. <br />:�'f a :B' tlr; ■. <br />0132 caeacxL r Jaary 3r7 <br />
