<br />unique to the needs of this target group is available. CHCADA will include specialized <br />case management/referral services for these youth. <br /> <br />9.S. Meet with Families in Their Homes to Snpport Setting Limits, Pwviding <br />Adequate Supervision, Ete. <br />The Parenting Skills workshops offered before release from the camps alone are <br />insufficient to alter the parenting behavior of the children's parents and/or guardians. <br />Thus, CHCADA's counselors will meet with the parent of their assigned mentee on a <br />monthly basis to review progress in altering parenting styles, identify ongoing problems <br />with the youth and offer input relative to the management of these problems, and to <br />discuss the overall progress of the youth As required, at least four (4) in-home <br />meetings will occur with the parents of each youth. As previously mentioned, CHCADA <br />will also schedule four (4) group sessions with the younger and older siblings of the <br />youth. <br />Finally, CHCADA's staff will maintain attendance books/sign-in sheets on all of <br />the above activities. Copies of these documents will be forwarded to the Network. At the <br />conclusion of the program, a narrative report will be forwarded to the County of Orange <br />that documents the youth and his/her family's participation in all required and non- <br />required programmatic components, assesses the youth's progress relative to the Case <br />Plan, and makes recommendations regarding additional interventions. Again, at the end <br />of the program, a formal graduation ceremony will be scheduled and Certificates of <br />Completion/ Attendance will be awarded. <br /> <br />1.4. Staffing Plan <br />CHCADA has designed a highly efficient staffing plan to support this contract. <br /> <br />This plan is summarized in Figure 16 below. <br /> <br />Figure J(" Staffing Plan <br />Project Director - A Master's-level Project Director will oversee this Project. <br />Approximately 10 percent ofthe Project Dircctor's time will be directed toward this project. <br />Project Manager/Counselor - Responsibility for day-to-day project activities will be <br />assigned to a 100 percent Project Manager/Counselor. <br /> <br />CHCADA's Response to RFP# PY2002 <br /> <br />Page 35 <br />
