<br />Figurc ] 6: Staffing Plan <br />. Onc 100 percent-time Counselor/Outreach Worker will also be assigned to this program. <br />. One 100 percent-time Counselor/Casc Manager will be assigned to thc program. <br />. One 100 percent-time Counselor/.lob Developer will be assigned to the program. <br />. An Administroative Assistant will be assigned (50'X,-time) to this projcct and will provide <br />support to the counsclors in data collection and storage, file maintenancc, and report <br />completion. <br /> <br />1.5. Facilities <br />Approximately 80 percent of services will be offered from CHCADA's La Familia <br />Family Center, located at 1910 Bush Street in Santa Ana, California. As mentioned, <br />however, services will also be offered from selected sites within the community. All sites <br />will be approved as safe before the scheduling of activities. <br /> <br />1.6. Ahout... CHCADA <br />CHCADA, a highly respected organization, has a 27-year history of service to <br />youth and a 15-year history of service in Santa Ana. CHCADA currently offers <br />prevention services to youth in several areas. Our evaluation reports confirm our <br />success rate. CHCADA has an internal Research, Evaluation and Program <br />Development Division that tracks our success. <br /> <br />I. 7. Experience <br />It is highly acknowledged that there is no substitute for organizational and/or staff <br />experience. The California Hispanic Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Inc. <br />brings to this project more than 27 years of experience in the planning, design, <br />implementation, management, and assessment of programs of prevention/intervention <br />for at-risk families. Additionally, CHCADA's expertise is so extensive and its capability <br />so exceptional that through the Latino Training Institute, we have provided startup, <br />program design and development, and training and technical assistance to more than <br />150 other programs for at-risk families throughout the State of California. Additionally, <br />the Latino Training Institute provides a wide range of courses that allow social services <br />agency staff to become certified in areas such as assessrnent; case management and <br />referrals; individual, group, and family in-home and onsite counseling; mentoring; job <br />development and employment training; anger management;; preventing gang <br /> <br />CHCADA's Response to RFP# PY2002 <br /> <br />Page 36 <br />
