Eo <br /> <br />Fo <br /> <br />Threaded type galvanized malleable iron or heavy sleel, water and concrete tight. <br />Metallic nylon grounding type insulated bushings with locknuts for connectors at <br />cabinets, boxes and gutters. Set screw connectors are not acceptable. <br /> <br />Thinwall Conduit: Electro-galvanized "Electric Metallic Tubing" (EM'F) of cold rolled <br />steel, electrically welded. Baked clear plastic enamel coating, inside and out. No <br />thimvall conduit (EMT) larger than 4-inch ID shall be used. LB condulets for conduit <br />larger than 1 1/2-inch ID are not to be used. <br /> <br />Thinwall Conduit Fittings: Compression type galvanized malleable iron or steel, rain <br />and concrete tight. Connector fittings have nylon insulated throats. Indentor or set <br />screw type fittings will not be allowed. <br /> <br />G. Thinwall conduit "EMT" used in the following locations: <br /> <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br /> <br />In stud partitions and hollow masonry walls. <br />Above suspended ceilings. <br />Exposed in dry locations where not subjected to mechanical damage. <br />Furred ceiling spaces. <br /> <br />Flexible Conduit: National "Flexsteel" flexible steel conduit, formed of one <br />continuous length of electro galvanized spirally wound steel strip. Provide a bond wire <br />from electrical equipment to the ground system. <br /> <br />Liquid Tight Flexible Conduit: Anaconda "Sealtite" liquid-tight flexible steel conduit, <br />formed of one continuous length of electro-galvanized spirally wound steel strip, with <br />neoprene jacket. Provide a bond wire from electrical equip~nent to the ground system. <br /> <br />Flexible Conduit Fittings: Squeeze or screw type, galvanized malleable iron or steel, <br />with nylon insulated throats. Manufacturers to be Thomas & Bens, Appleton or <br />EFCOR. <br /> <br />Liquid Tight Flexible Conduit Fittings: Galvanized malleable iron or steel, liquid-tight <br />with neoprene gaskets, "O" ring and retainer, nylon insulated, throats, manufactured by <br />T & B Series 5300, or equal by Appleton or EFCOR. <br /> <br />L. Flexible conduit used in the following locations: <br /> <br />Connections from junction box to lighting fixtures in accessible ceilings. <br />Final connections to motor operated equipment. <br /> <br />M. Liquid-Tight Flexible Conduit: Used in the following location: <br /> <br /> 1.
