Provide energy savings measure to the existing swimming pool of the facility. <br />The existing pool heating system consists of a boiler, sand filter system and 10-HP pump. The pool <br />operates during the summer and is maintained at 80 deg F. <br /> <br />1. Replace existing heater with more efficient heater <br />2. Provide a complete and operable system <br />3. Provide a battery-operated pool cover to cover the pool during unoccupied hours. <br />4. Provide a complete and operable system <br /> <br />Section 15. PRE FIM ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />Contactor has performed a detailed feasibility study each of the systems described herein including <br />evaluation, measurements engineering analysis of said systems, following acceptable industry <br />standards and guidelines to predetermine the minimum feasible energy savings and base calculations <br />utilized in Energy Savings Calculations (Exhibit D). <br /> <br />Section 16. SPECIAL PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SCOPE OF WORK. <br /> <br />In addition to the specifications detailed herein, Contractor shall provide those special services as <br />described in Attachment 1 to this Exhibit. <br /> <br />Section 17. EXCLUSIONS TO THE SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />A. Contractor shall provide the services described in this Exhibit subject to the following <br />exclusions: <br /> <br /> 1. Contractor shall not be responsible for repair or replacement of non maintainable or non- <br />moving parts of the system such as ductwork, shell and tubes, heat exchangers, unit cabinets, casings, <br />refractory material, electrical wiring, water and pneumatic piping, structural reports, cooling tower fill, <br />slats and basins, etc. unless otherwise stated in this Agreement. <br /> 2. Contractor shall not be responsible for repairs, replacements, or services necessitated by <br />reason of negligence, abuse, misuse, improper or inadequate repairs or modifications, improper <br />operation, lack of operator maintenance or skill, or other reasons beyond our control. <br /> 3. Contractor will not assume responsibility for service on equipment unless performed by our <br />employees or persons authorized by us. <br /> 4. Contractor shall not be responsible for repairs, replacements or services to equipment due to <br />corrosion, erosion, improper or inadequate water treatment by others, electrolytic action, chemical <br />action or other reasons beyond our control. <br /> 5. At initial inspection following 12 months of service, if individual item(s) cannot, in our <br />opinion, be properly repaired, due to obsolescence, lack of availability of refrigerant or standard parts, <br />excessive wear or deterioration, Contractor may withdraw the item(s) from coverage with ninety (90) <br />days prior written notice. <br /> 6. Repairs and replacement of equipment parts and components is limited to restoring proper <br />working condition. Contractor shall not be obligated to provide replacement equipment that represents <br />significant betterment or capital improvement.
