· Contractor shall perform all painting as necessary in the construction areas to match <br /> existing finishing. <br /> <br />· Contractor is responsible for protecting and restoring all penetrations of firewalls and <br /> fire-protections. <br /> <br />· Contractor is responsible for moving and reposition furniture as needed in its original <br /> configuration. <br /> <br />· Contractor is responsible to provide adequate dust management covers, and protect all <br /> items, furniture, flooring, books, etc. <br /> <br />Contractor shall store all materials, tools and equipment in a storage container in a <br />designated area during the entire duration of the project. All materials, tools and <br />supplies shall be stored in an adequate watertight container properly identified for <br />safety of employees, pedestrians, and vehicles. <br /> <br />All HVAC and energy work shall be in accordance with the Energy Efficiency <br />Standards (2001) for residential and non-residential buildings as Adopted California <br />Energy Commission. <br /> <br />· Contractor shall provide for all area where Air Conditioning or ventilation work is <br /> conducted a certified air balance report at completion of project. <br /> <br />· Thermostat setting shall be 70 deg F for low temp and 72 Deg F for high set point. <br /> <br />· All projects shall comply with Title 24 and its 2001 review. <br /> <br />· All electrical work shall be performed as described in Exhibit M. <br /> <br />· Data cable necessary to connect contractor's commtmications system shall be in <br /> protected in rigid and flexible conduits. <br /> <br />Replacement air conditioning systems shall be manufactured by TRANE or <br />CARRIER. Any other manufacturer shall be approved prior to specification and <br />purchasing by Building Maintenance Superintendent. <br /> <br />1.06 Contractor shall submit to the City of Santa Ana prior to commencing work: <br /> <br />· Complete sets of drawings and specifications for approval as to build drawings <br /> retrofits and new equipment. <br />· Sample of any materials to be used in the projects. <br /> <br />Contractor shall receive specific approval in writing for materials and methods prior <br />to commencing work. Any changes to plans and materials shall be pre approved in <br />writing by the Superintendent. <br /> <br /> <br />
