The <br /> proposed modification and increase is designed to recover costs associated with the <br /> inspection of larger businesses. The increase is based on the recovery of the hourly rate of10 <br /> an Engine crew and a Prevention Inspector. The City has conducted a study of the <br /> implementation of fire inspection fees in surrounding communities and finds the rate <br /> structures comparable.
