Modified Miscellaneous Fees <br /> Fire Cont'd <br /> 2) Fireworks Stand and Displays Permit for Sale <br /> Existing Fee: $136.00 <br /> Proposed Fee(s): $300.00 <br /> Department: Fire Prevention <br /> The increase proposal is designed to partially recover costs associated with facilitating the <br /> fireworks program., reviewing applications, inspecting and maintaining booths from July 1 <br /> through July 11. The increase is based on the actual hourly rate of pay for Inspection staff. <br /> Approximate time spent for each booth—6 hours x $35.00 = $210 <br /> Follow-up paperwork and reporting to the County—4 hours x $35.00 = $140 <br /> Comparative Study: <br /> Costa Mesa $115.00 <br /> Garden Grove $110.00 <br /> 3) Fire Code Permits <br /> The proposal expands the existing fee schedule to include additional California Fire Code <br /> permit requirements.
