SPEC. 631-134 On motion of Councilman Patterson, seconded <br />COMPOUND WATER METERS by.Councilman Evans and unanimously <br /> carried, Council ordered filed report of <br />bids received for Spec. 631-134, Compound Water Meters; awarded contract to <br />Rockwell Manufacturing Company, the lowest and best bidder meeting the <br />specifications; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />PROJECT 6018 - LA BOLSA PARK On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br /> seconded by Councilman Yamamoto and <br /> unanimously carried, Council ordered filed <br />report of bids received for Project 6018, Construction of La Bolsa Park, Phase I - <br />Site Development and Recreation Building; awarded contract for base bid only to <br />~e low bidder, GordonG. Montgomery Construction, Inc.~ and rejected all other <br />b~2S. <br /> <br />PROJECT 1324 On motion of Councilman Evans, seconded <br />SANTA ANA BOULEVARD by Councilman Patterson and unanimously <br /> carried, Council ordered filed report <br />of bids received for Project 1324, Construction of Santa Ana Boulevard from <br />Santiago Street to Grand Avenue; awarded contract to the low bidder, Sully-Miller <br />Contracting Company; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />PROJECT 7014 - MUSEUM On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br />SECURITY SYSTEM - FIRE seconded by Councilman Evans and <br />DETECTION unanimously carried, the bid opening <br /> date for Project 7014, Furnish and Install <br />Intrusion Security System and Fire Detection System in Charles W. Bowers Memorial <br />Museum, was extended to June 26, 1970 in order to give the bidders additional time. <br /> <br />BID CALLS On motion of Councilman Evans, seconded <br /> by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously <br /> carried, Council approved plans and <br />specifications and authorized advertising for bids for the following: <br /> <br />Project 6033 - Construct Cougar Cage in Prentice Park <br />and Concession Stand in Municipal Stadium, opening July 23 <br />(to be encumbered in 1969-70 Budget)~ <br /> <br />Project 4007A (D-68) - Construct C-5-F Storm Drain in Harbor <br />B]vd, from C-5-F Channel to 400 feet north and to include La Bolsa <br />Park Lateral, opening July 23 (to be encumbered in 1970-71 Budget). <br /> <br />Project 2021 - Construct: (1) West side of Grand from <br />McFadden to 1500 feet north and McFadden from Grand <br />to 250 feet west; (2) Northeast corner of Dyer Road and <br />Main Street; /3) South side of First from Fairview to Sullivan; <br />(4) East side of Westwood from 310 feet north of Memory <br />Lane to Corrigan, south side of Corrigan from Westwood to <br />Freeman, and west side of Freeman from Corrigan to 445 feet <br />south; {5) South side of Dyer Road from 800 feet west of Main <br />Street to Main Street and west side of Main Street from 250 <br />feet south of Dyer Road to Dyer Road; opening July 24 (to be <br />encumbered in 1970-71 Budget). <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -159- June 15, 1970 <br /> <br /> <br />
