World -Ready Scholar: Guaranteeing mastery in literacy, numeracy, and <br />reasoning to tackle academic and professional challenges in the 21st century. <br />The City of Santa Ana should support the Santa Ana Unified School District's <br />(SAUSD) Graduate Profile because it directly benefits the community by fostering a <br />well -prepared, engaged, and skilled workforce. Here are some key reasons for support- <br />1 . Economic Development — A well-educated workforce attracts businesses, <br />creates job opportunities, and strengthens the local economy. The Graduate <br />Profile ensures students develop the skills needed for career success. <br />2. Community Well -Being — Graduates who meet the profile's expectations —such <br />as being critical thinkers, effective communicators, and responsible citizens — <br />contribute to a safer and more vibrant community. <br />3. Reduced Crime & Social Challenges — Supporting student success reduces <br />dropout rates, which correlates with lower crime rates and fewer social service <br />burdens. <br />4. Civic Engagement & Leadership — The Graduate Profile promotes qualities like <br />collaboration, resilience, and problem -solving, helping Santa Ana develop future <br />leaders and active community members. <br />5.
