FLOOD PLAIN INSURANCE The report dated April <br /> 4, 1974 from the Direc- <br /> tor of Public ~orks, <br /> and the report d~ted <br />March 12, 1974 from Edward Probyn James, recommending support <br />of ~the Floor Insurance Program as an intermediate term solu- <br />tion to the City's flood hazard problem, with the understand- <br />ing that the ultimate solution will be expansion of flood con- <br />trol facilities along the Santa Ana River and its tributaries, <br />was deferred to May 6 for further discussion by. Council, on <br />motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Evans, and <br />unanimously carried. (CA 140.14) <br /> <br />SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT On motion of Ceuncllman <br />POLICY IN INDUSTRIAL AREAS Ward, seconded 5y <br /> Councilman .Y'amamoto, and <br /> unanimously carried, <br />the oral report by the Director of Public Works regarding <br />the City's sidewalk improvement policy in industrial areas, <br />was deferred to the May 6 Council meeting. CCA 29.14] <br /> <br />LOCAL AGENCY The "Background and <br />FORMATION COMMISSION Position Paper" pertain- <br /> ing to his~ seat on the <br /> Local Agency Formation <br />Commission, ~dated April 6, 1974, prepared by Councilman <br />Robert J.
